For this month we've got music, art and beer. And often combinations of all three! OKTOBERFEST London Oktoberfest means plenty of German beers to drink, plus Bratwurst and Schnitzel to eat, fun music and Lederhosen! It's all happening in Millwall Park, Canary Wharf from 28 September to 8 October.

More than 50,000 revellers are expected to take a seat in the open-plan wooden beer hall and be served by the expert Bavarian hostesses, wearing traditional dirndl dresses, who can carry up to 10 steins of beer at a time. Children are welcome on Sundays for Sunday lunch, otherwise it's an adults only affair. And, in case you are wondering, you can rent lederhosen and dirndl to dress up when you arrive. Fans can see clothing from the 1984/1985 Purple Rain tour, the Gibson L65 guitar that Prince used when he made his national television debut in 1980 and his diamond-studded cane from 2015. My Name is Prince is in London for a limited 21-day engagement, reflecting the 21 unprecedented record-breaking, sold-out concerts that Prince played at The O2 in August and September 2007 – a record that still stands today. Clothing worn during those shows is on display.
