Since AMD can only muster a lowly 4.3 on a really good chip if you're lucky, you would have a better experience in wow with the 8700. So i could just run that build, and just upgrade the ssd to 250?

That could actually work. Plus id rather go with intel and nvidea anyway Yeah, they make better parts for gaming. And it's super easy to upgrade storage space.

While I agree, I've never seen my 8700k (when I had it sick anyway) ever boost to 4.7 (4.6 in the case of the nonk) but always 4.3 no matter what; probably because there's always something going on in the background to utilize all cores That said with 4.3 being the max be AMD, it who only really run at like 3.8 or something all core.
