Once you confirm this works move the video game component cables back into the HD-PVR component inputs. Now recheck the video and audio source inputs in TME. A lot of times we find people who have changed the settings in TME. It might be in composite or svideo, maybe SPDIF audio instead of RCA Back. Pass through problems Pass through problems, such as a black screen on your TV set (even though you can record videos), are usually basic cabling and settings in TME. Check your cables! I do have one question for Jared from Hauppauge. Can this record to the computer and stream to Ustream or Justintv at the same time with StreamEez or the new Capture program? StreamEez is now a tab in Hauppauge Capture. It is also available as a stand-alone streaming application for those who primarily stream. The functions and operations are the same with both the stand-alone and integrated versions of StreamEez. The StreamEez stand alone application is on the installation CD, while the Hauppauge Capture application with a StreamEez tab is a free download. Mine just arrived, and I can confirm that this is untrue. It came with the AV adapter, and plugging my PS3 into it through that worked just fine. If the AV port is “disabled,” then I’m guessing it was done on the software side, if at all. I’m using the drivers intended for the “regular” HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition downloaded from the Hauppauge site instead of the ones included on the enclosed CD. To reiterate: the model sold on Woot on Friday seems to be identical to the models sold elsewhere at a $60 markup.
